Sometimes looking at data is the wrong path to finding a solution.
Sometimes you must look past the data to envision a new reality.
Case in point: I know December is a slow revenue month for me. If I looked at the data it would be discouraging. It would say, “You’re not doing well!”
Instead of pouring hours into analyzing and disaggregating, I went into the month armed with 3 of my most reliable strategies and focused on them with all my effort starting early November.
Today, I finally checked the data, and revenue is up 80% for December 2019 compared to December 2018.
Lesson: Look past the data, envision a new reality, and act on your most reliable strategies.
