Why You Climb

This year there will be challenges, obstacles, and walls – mountains to climb.

You have, and will have, wildly important goals – big, hairy, audacious goals. And they will not be easy to reach. They are a far-stretch for you, at times, seemingly impossible. You chose them. You chose the climb. That’s why you are a leader.

You don’t climb because it’s fun.

You don’t climb because of the peak.

You climb because you enjoy the struggle. It’s your why.

Remember this when the walls grow tall and pressure is unbearable. Enjoy the climb.
